Wateen Wi-Fi Settings .

1. Write down the following URL (http://192.168.15.1) in the Web browser to access the WiFi Management Interface by applying “Motorola” in Password.

2. Click on Wi-Fi radio button option and enable it.

3. Make sure that “Enable Wi-Fi Service” should be checked.

4. Fill the Wi-Fi Network SSID field while writing “wateen”.

5. Make Sure Operating Mode should be 802.11b/g.

In order to generate security key kindly note down the following steps after following above:

6. Go to security Tab option.

7. Make sure that Security Protocol is WEP.

8. Select Key 1 from dropped down menu.

9. Enter the ten digit key in Decimal/Hexadecimal.

10. Click on Apply and Restart device once.

Wateen Prepaid Account Recharge

Please follow the below mentioned steps;


Log on to http://www.prepaid.wateen.net

On main page, towards bottom right click on option of Refill account

In the new window that appears, enter your pre paid card scratch number

You will get a message "Your card is redeemed successfully"


You can also check the history of the vouchers used for your account at http://selfcare.wateen.com. Furthermore, you may also call 1230 from your Wateen provided number to top up your account by simply following the automated prompts.

WiMAX or Triple Play Users:

You can recharge your Wateen prepaid WiMAX or Triple Play account through:

• Voice: From your Wateen number dial 1230 and follow IVR to recharge your voucher (WCard)

• Internet: you can also recharge your voucher from internet, all you need to do is enter your username and password at http://prepaid.wateen.net and recharge you account via voucher

Freeze Wateen Account

The account freeze option is available if your pre paid account meets the following cretiria: 

* At time of account freeze, the balance is in +ve

* you should atleast request 24 hours before your recharge date


The following conditions apply for account freeze:

* Account can be freezed for maximum of 2 months

* The freeze period will be counted from your account billing date to billing date

Wateen New Student Package Launched (7 Cities

Wateen has launched USF Package in 7 cities now. It was first launched on 28th of January 2010 in Sargodha only but now wateen is offering USF Package in below mentioned 7 cities:

· Okara

· Sahiwal
· Sialkot
· Sheikhupura
· Sargodha
· Abbotabad
· Gujrat

This package will be offered to students under the age of 25 only. Package details are given below:

Additional data will be charged at PKR 25 per 100 MB and Go-Green may be optionally subscribed for voice services.



USF-G Package

The package is focused on the public in general in Sargodha. The tariff details of this package are as follows;

Wateen Device

Wateen has launched a new device “ZTE IX380". Which is available for new customers only this is a great device it has wifi embedded in it. It has lot more functions for more detail consider below points.

Features:

· ZTE IX380 is WiMAX device with 2 LAN and 2 Telephone ports.


· WIFI is embedded in it.

· ZTE has two detachable antennas on it.

· ZTE IP series are different from other CPEs. Gateway will be 192.168.1.1 and IPs will be starting from 192.168.1.100 to 192.168.1.254 and subnet will be 255.255.255.0

· To enable the security open the page http://192.168.1.1 and enter the password: Wat33NW1MaX, Now click on WLAN and then on security. Here click on WEP and enter 13 digits alphanumeric Key and then 
press submit.
